What I have discovered in Europe, is that massage and yoga can often be categorised as a 'treat.' Something that is considered a special delight or pleasure.
Ayurvedic treatments, including yoga and massage, are the application of remedies to effect a cure or alleviation of the source of the problem. Cutting the Root cause from its source, would be the desired effect.
Due to our modern lifestyle, harmony and full health are always on a knife's edge of balance. Ayurveda and Yoga offer easy solutions, that do require some input of the client, what you give into it, compounds the relief you get from it. Due to the dizzying nature of most of our lifestyles, these therapies and treatments work best upon accumulation to create greater effect.
Santa Claus brings a treat that we want but may not need, Ayurveda and Yoga can be a wonderful complete relaxing treat from the stress of our overwhelming life, but is ultimately a healing medical tradition that is as individual to each client as a snowflake in Santa's snow.
Ayurvedic consultation
determines any imbalances present that may be affecting your health and well being. Recommendations are presented for lifestyle and nutrition that will help you rectify problems you are experiencing. Some problems as difficult as stress, anxiety, insomnia, skin disorders, depression or excess weight can be alleviated or cured.
Keeping to a simple dietary regime, or Ayurvedic detox program combined with self Ayurvedic massage or yoga practice or relaxation and meditation.
Initial consultation: €65 (75-90 minutes)

Ayurvedic Facelift massage
A non-surgical and highly effective method of achieving healthy younger looking skin
using important Marma points and Ayurvedic oils to suit a client's body constitution, this facial has the added benefit to reduce stress and calm the mind. Can easily be tailored to the individual needs, pocket and time allowance. Includes a wonderful Indian head massage.

Ayurvedic abhyanga massage
A blissfully relaxing full-body oil massage using medicated herbal oils for rectifying imbalances within the physiology. Reduces stress, tones and relaxes muscles, improves immunity, relieves stiffness in the joints and increases energy and vitality, promotes correct flow of Prana and Apana, (the Life Force and the elimination of toxins). Includes Indian head massage.

Therapeutic ayurveda massage
A deep pressure massage, may include heated mudpacks, targeting specific problematic areas of the body to help release muscle or nerve pain and joint stiffness.Includes Indian head massage. Good for promoting sound sleep and increasing energy levels.

Udvartana detox massage
A stimulating dry powder massage for easing congestion, exfoliating the skin and reducing excess weight. It is also good for reducing cellulite, decreasing wrinkles and creating lightness in the mind and body. Not for all body types.

Deha Mardanam STRONG revitalising massage
Strong and accelerated massage to remove congestion and blockages. Detoxifying, revitalising and lightening, great for sports people. Not for all body types.

Please note: Due to the nature of Ayurvedic Massage, Contemporary Ayurveda work to specific dynamics of the client and reserve the right to change pre arranged treatments to another type more suitable on the day.

Ayurveda prana therapy
This is a very gentle, nurturing and purifying ayurvedic massage which is very effective for reducing stress, calming the mind, reducing anxiety, promotes correct sleep patterns. Especially suitable for those who are elderly or have a high sensitivity to touch or those with skin problems.

Ayurvedic cooking
A home visit to help you integrate simple ayurvedic cuisine into your daily life. Demonstrating how to cook meals that are balancing and healthy for your Ayurveda constitution and how to adapt it for the rest of your family if necessary.

Yoga therapy
Presenting yoga postures and relaxation techniques to suit your body type, working to calm the mind and bring strength and flexibility to your body. Regular practice will bring clarity and focus to the mind while the body will feel lighter, more toned and energised.

These full-day or half-day packages will help recharge, refresh and rejuvenate your mind and body in a caring and relaxing environment. It will include a combination of some of the therapies above and will be tailored to your individual constitution, interest or preference. It may even include a walk through the woods or on the beach (optional). The full-day package includes a delicious Ayurvedic lunch.
**The half day package is proving to be the most popular and restorative with clientel, based on time allowance, can include doshic tea and a light snack.
