Stress Reduction Therapy
Using age old principles from the traditional medical system of India to combat what has become a modern plague known as STRESS.
STRESS is?
Quoted from Wikipedia:
- Stress mechanically is the average amount of force exerted per unit area. It is the internal resistance a material offers to being deformed and is measured in terms of the applied load.
- Compressive stress, the stress applied to materials resulting in their compaction. It is the ability of a material to resist being crushed.
Stress is a biological term for the consequences of the failure of a human or animal to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats to the organism, whether actual or imagined. It includes a state of alarm and adrenaline production, short-term resistance as a coping mechanism, and exhaustion. Common stress symptoms include irritability, muscular tension, inability to concentrate and a variety of physical reactions, such as headaches and elevated heart rate. Quote ends.
Stress first attacks the nervous system, placing us into the survival mode of ‘fight or flight’.
As valuable as this instinct is…
it is translated in the body as muscular contraction,
heart set for excessive pressure,
adrenal glands prepared to flow adrenaline
and motor neurones on high alert for action,
mind on outward alert via all 5 senses,
to gather information, process it and
find the quickest action forward to safety.
Again, As valuable as this instinct is… it can create havoc in the body if instinctual response is not balanced.
The only way to restore the body to full correct functioning of organs, endocrine system and mind processes is thru the power of will.
I work with restoring the body to correct optimal function
